Basic EFT procedure

Write your Issue at the top of the page.

Rate how you feel when thinking of the issue or statement and where you feel it. ( for later monitoring of progress )
E.g. fear of spiders 10/10 Stomach

Form an affirmation which focuses on the unconscious gain. Using as much detail and feeling as you can. e.g. “Even though I …’feel angry, hurt….. about ….………. I deeply and completely accept myself.”

Form a reminder phrase e.g. this fear of failure, ‘ this anger’

Tap the karate chop point (at the crease below your little finger)for as long as it takes while repeating the affirmation 3 times ( formed in 3 ) or rub the tender points ( to find it think about your problem and find a tender spot just below your collar bone)

Tap EFT points while repeating the Reminder phrase ( formed in 4 ) 7 x each point.
The points on the fingers are level with the base of the nails and are on the same side as the thumb.

Tap the Gamut point at the same time as performing the next few steps.

Close your eyes.

Open your eyes.

Keeping your head perfectly still roll your eyes in an clockwise direction.

The above activate different parts of the brain

Repeat the tapping sequence No.6 (not including the gamut point)
Take a deep breath in and out. Allow a few moments for your energy to reconfigure.

Assess how you feel with a score out of 10.

If your score is not a “0” then repeat the whole procedure changing your statement to include the word “still” in your statement and “remaining “ in the remainder phrase.
E.g. “Even though I …’still feel angry’…………. I deeply and completely accept myself.” ,
and this remaining anger

If you find another problem, memory or a new aspect of the problem switch your attention to the new element and address it with a complete EFT round from the beginning.
